Kundalini Yoga makes one feel incredibly energized. In Kundalini Yoga we utilize different breathing techniques, science of sound and rhythm. The movements can be active, incorporating the breath of fire, or long relaxed deep breathing, learning to meditate while holding a pose. According to the teaching of Kundalini Yoga, the prana (life force which is carried to us by air) enters the body and awakens healing energy or Kundalini. Chemicals are activated, glands are revitalized and one will experience a healthful change in attitude and overall well being. If you can move your body, if you can breathe you will enjoy the experience of Kundalini Yoga.
I started introducing Kundalini Yoga a little at a time by incorporating breathing and movement techniques into my regular classes. My students asked to start an exclusive Kundalini Yoga class which we started as an evening class.
